Facelifted Ford Focus ST: the first pictures
Yesterday Ford announced the run-out ST500 special edition of the old Focus, today it's shown the new one.We saw the revised Focus at this autumn's Frankfurt Motor Show, but Ford only teased us with humdrum models. Now the Blue Oval has released the first details of the new ST, with a refreshed look to emphasise its sporty position at the top of the Focus tree.So there's a new bumper, much shallower grille and more rectangular, swept-back headlamps at the front, giving a more techincal look. The rear has been refreshed, too, but the changes are less noticeable.
This year's Interior Motives China Conference got off to a great start yesterday in its new home at the Hilton Hongqiao in Shanghai. The theme of this year's event is 'Technology and Tradition; Old meets new in modern-day China.' Interior Motives is the print magazine from Car Design News, which focuses on the design development of vehicle interiors. The sixth running of the annual conference has seen a large shift in the Chinese market since the first.
SUPERMARKETS have announced fuel-price cuts ahead of the August bank holiday getaway. From tomorrow Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco are all reducing the cost of their petrol by up to 2p a litre, with diesel going down by 1p a litre. In Asda's case, this will take the price of its petrol to no more than 124.7p a litre, with diesel at 128.7p for diesel – its lowest prices since January 2011.
